As part of this Year of celebrations for the hundredth anniversary of Scouting, we have been invited to take part in another very important and exciting event. We will be joining with four other bands to form the Greater London South West's mass band for the Lord Mayor's Show We will be selecting the best members of our band to take part. If you practice hard and your standard is good enough, I hope that will mean that we all be involved
The Important Dates
Monday 22nd October 2007 - Mass band practice at Kingston and Malden
Sunday 28th October 2007 - Mass band practice - location TBA
Sunday 4th November 2007 - Mass band practice - location TBA
We then have a busy weekend:
Saturday 10th November - Lord Mayor's Show, London
Sunday 11th November - Royal British Legion Remembrance Parade Mitcham
